CootieGirlis still on the mend. A lot more energy and smiles today. And fewer coughs. Still sick, but not as bad. Here is a pic of her I wanted to share.

Little Cootie slept well last night. She got up and hasn’t coughed yet. Marmie is feeding her a bottle right now. Probably done. I have to go check on them. CootieGirlneeds a diaper change. In the meantime enjoy this pic from last night.

CootieMom went to the ped’s today to find out what’s wrong with O. He said she had a cold with a touch of an ear infection. We filled a perscription for Amoxicillyn. And we’re pumping up CootieGirlwith Infant Tylenol to reduce her fever, which was 101.3 just now. And we’re giving her infant cough medicine to stop the constant coughing which is keeping her awake. So I gave her a little pedialyte a short while ago, then just finished feeding her a six ounce bottle. I was trying to burp her to prevent her from throwing up when — woah, there goes the six ounce bottle, and the pedialyte and whatever else she had in her stomach all over our couch, rug and daddy. She seemed to perk up after she tossed her cookies. That’s the good news. We’ve decided that I’d stay home with her tomorrow instead of bringing her to church. Good thing Marmie and Pop are making a two day visit starting tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully they can make her feel better.

Turns out our little sickie is getting worse not better. Or at least staying the same. She has a noon doctor’s appointment today. Hopefully he can help us out. She is so pitiful when she coughs. She cries immediately after that. Tears and all. She didn’t cough as much last night, but she’s far from in perfect health. Still in pretty good spirits, but not feeling too well.

Christmas Day is here. The first Cootiepie rip-and-tear, or more aptly, watch-mama-and-daddy-tear-then-chew, is over. CootieGirl scored on a bunch of new clothes, many of which is for when she gets older, including a tea dress and floopy hat from Marmie. She got a Veggie Tales dvd collection too. We are getting ready to visit my mom and the rest of my family.

CootieGirl had two go-sees today. Well, the first one was part go-see, part possible job. Either way, she had a little curl put in her hair which was very cute. I tried to take some pics of it when we got home, but I really didn’t get a good one.

This morning CootieGirl had a model casting call/shoot for some trade publication. They took a bunch of photographs of her but will only pay her if they use her shots. They had her in a cloth diaper, playing with a basketball but reaching for a cell phone. She did very well since she’s a technology baby and loves remote controls, cell phones, etc. Hopefully they’ll pick her photos – especially since she seemd to do exactly what they wanted.

What was great was that the stylist put some styling gel in CootieGirl’s mohawk and created an adorable strawberry blonde curl right in the front on her forehead. She sat patiently for about 10 minutes worth of pictures (I think that’s a record for her).

Afterwards CootieDad took her to a go-see for an ad for a baby ecsema skin cream (called Elladel or something like that), and she still had the curl. Apparently the agents at the go-see loved the curl so we are ALL ABOUT DOING THAT everytime she has a go-see! And hopefully that playful curl will help her get that job.

So CootieDad is on his way home with CootieGirl now – she was tired during the earlier photo shoot, and was ear-tugging tired at the go-see and apparently fell asleep the minute they hit the street to go home.

Busy day and it’s not even 10:30 a.m.!!

Just a couple of shots of the cute cootie from this morning before we went to church. CootieGirlhas another go-see for some fancy body cream or something like that on Tuesday. A room full of babies, but let’s hope she shines.

Here are two shots showing off CootieGirl’s new blanket that she got from Ace and Anthony for Christmas. Anthony made it. She seems to love it. She’ll have this for years and years to come. Ace just went along for the ride. But he did pick out a cool Fisher Price Peek-a-Blocks 2-n-1 Activity Wagon that makes noise and lights up and comes with eight blocks of various designs. I think we’ll be picking up some other blocks since she loves them so much.
