Last night I put my finger in CootieGirl’s mouth to feel her gums, and sure enough I felt the jagged edge of a first tooth on the bottom gum! I can’t wait to have it officially appear so I can take pictures of her smiling with this big tooth in the middle of her mouth.

She is also consistently sleeping on her left side now. The minute we lay her in her crib she immediately flips to her side and falls asleep. It’s too cute to come in and see her completely laid out, arms flopped in front her, head tipped back. I’ll try to remember to take a picture tonight.

She did really well going down to bed last night – but I’m not surprised since she got maybe two hours of sleep from noon until 11 p.m. She seemed wide awake at 11 p.m., but regardless I put her in the crib, swaddled her a bit to keep her warm (it was cool last night), and miraculously she laid content in her crib until she fell asleep (which was in about 10 minutes).

She continues to enjoy the carrots. Yesterday Ace stopped by for a bit and I fed her some carrots while he was there. With tonight’s feeding she will have been officially eating carrots for four days – one more day to go and we can switch to another veggie and she how she reacts. But so far so good on the carrot front.

CootieGirl ate her first vegetable last night. Carrots. And she loved them. Whoo Hoo!!! She’s even helping herself to the spoon in one pic. Moma has to protect against that. She jammed it in her mouth once already.

The only time she fussed, as you’ll see in one of these pics, is when Moma stopped feeding her. Typical for this little one. And after a big meal what did she do? Took a long nap just like we all want to do.

CootieGirl took part in our church’s car wash event. She got a tiny sun tan across her face as you can see in the picture. Don’t worry; she’s okay.

CootieGirl is feeling better. Still a little under the weather, but much better than when I saw her on Sunday night. She loves the TV show “Bear in the Big Blue House” on the Disney Channel so I got her a Bear bear from Amazon. She loves him. And he says a few phrases. That kind of threw her for a loop.

Seems that Cootiepie either caught a cold in Virginia or went down with one in hiding. Poor girl. Talk about a runny-crusty nose. Not sure how CootieMom can stand it.

In other news, a friend and former co-worker had a baby boy a few months before we did. His name is Joshua Adhamh. He’s a cutie. Check out his site here.

I took new pictures of CootieGirljust before she and mom left for Virginia on Friday, but CootieMom took the camera with her so I never got the chance to up load them. I thought she might be able to post a few while she was down there, but I guess not. I’ll probably get some up tonight. Just keeping you in the know.

Mommy and CootieGirlwent flea market shopping in Virginia. I’m sure CootieGirl picked up a nice rattle or two.

I finally felt well enough today to take a new picture of CootieGirl. I know you’re going to love it.
